John Pagliaro is a nationally recognized marketing and branding
expert with 25+ years experience managing technology, b2b and b2c
programs for companies ranging from early-stage startups to global,
Fortune 100 corporations.
Prior to relocating to San Diego in 2000, John spent the majority
of his career in Northern California marketing everything from chips
to super computers… with a few museums, a couple of banks,
a fine wine and the San Jose Convention & Visitors Bureau added
to the mix.
His strategic positioning and famous branding work for companies
like Sun Microsystems, NCR (NCR Tower) , Memorex, SyQuest, Siemens,
Symantec/Norton, and Toshiba to name a few, garnered international
recognition, won many industry awards, and contributed to John being
named to Who’s Who in Silicon Valley.
As a new member of the San Diego market, John continues to provide
his successful approach to marketing strategy and brand development,
first as the executive vice president of advertising for the Townsend
Agency, and more recently as an independent consultant and principal
of a network of industry specific talent with JPagliaro & Associates.
Although John sold his San Jose-headquartered agency, Pagliaro/Kuhlman,
with intentions of renting surfboards on the beach in San Diego;
the only boards he’s seen so far have been the “advisory
boards” of his clients.
